This FRIDAY (26th), there will be a dance (Lindy Hop/Swing) at Johns Hopkins in the Great Hall. If you haven't seen this, it's a beautiful space (if you HAVE seen this, I know you'll be back!!) $10 ($5 for students) with a free beginner swing dance lesson at 8pm, and a dance from 9pm-midnight. SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3RD: SAC AU LAIT CONFIRMED!! Centerstage (a theater in downtown Baltimore) is having a "Stage Door Canteen" party (a tribute to the WW II veterans) from 5pm-8pm in their upper lobby. They've invited us to bring dancers to their party!! This is not only be FREE but they're giving our dancers FREE TICKETS to the show "Hearts" that's running that day.. you can choose either to see the 2pm matinee and then stay to dance, or dance and then see the 8pm show. The space is awesome. The floor is tight carpeting but don't worry, you can definitely spin and dance comfortably on this... we tried it out!! One thing: you MUST preregister for this, since they need a guest list for both the dancing as well as the show. Details at:
