A big thank you to those of you who attended our first dance at Chase Court last Friday - it was AWESOME!! The space was beautiful, there was lots of room to dance, the floor was amazing, and the band of course was HOT. So was the room (even with the A/C on full blast!), but we're assured that in September it'll be much cooler.
For those of you that missed it, don't worry, we'll do it again. And we'll probably tell you about it.

Our new Tuesday 8-week series will start September 4. As always, cost is $80 per 8 week series ($50 for students). Or try one of our packages of $140 for 2 series ($90 for students). There is a limit of 24 students per class (12 leaders, 12 followers), so sign up early!! NOTE: We WILL cut off registration at 12 leaders and 12 followers. We WILL turn you away if you show up without registering and the class is full.
It is OK to miss some classes here or there. No partners required.

Introduction to Lindy Hop
(Beginner/Intermediate) Even if you have some Lindy Hop experience, it is always recommended to continue learning basic technique. If you have taken this class before, you can repeat it for FREE any time you want. NOTE: We encourage you to take this class with the Charleston class at 8:30. Prerequisite: a few weeks of the Monday classes or other swing dance experience. A Ton of Charleston
(Beginner/Intermediate) Charleston patterns. No matter what level you're dancing at today, you could probably use a few dozen more partner Charleston patterns in your back pocket. This class will give you some oldies but goodies and some wacky Charleston that we've never taught before. NOTE: We encourage you to take this class with either the 7:30 Intro or the 9:30 Funky class. Prerequisite: a few weeks of the Monday classes or other swing dance experience.

Funky Swing
(Intermediate/Advanced) Does Michael Jackson mess with your mojo? When Prince comes over the speakers, do you suddenly decide it's time for a bathroom break? NO MORE! Give your lindy hop a sleek new makeover! This series will show you how to make your lindy patterns look and feel smooth and sexy by incorporating some west coast swing technique. Learn how to be comfortable, creative, and un-creepy dancing in closed-position. And turn heads on the dance floor with some eye-catching body isolations, whips, and combos. NOTE: We encourage you to take this class with the Charleston class at 8:30. Prerequisite: Introduction to Lindy Hop or some experience with 8-count lindy hop
