THURSDAY Aug 2: FREE outdoor dance at Patterson Park (7pm-8:30pm) with live band Blue Sky 5 and FREE beginner lesson (6:45pm-7pm and during band breaks). At corner of Eastern at Linwood. Was very fun last time we did this, and it generated a lot of interest.

FRIDAY Aug 10: This will be AMAZING - we've secured the Chase Court Ballroom, a beautiful, spacious, hard-wood, tall-ceiling ballroom - on a FRIDAY NIGHT!! - AND we have the kick-ass dixieland sounds of Sac Au Lait!! (They WILL play a lot of slower music this time, don't worry!!) This is a trial run with Chase Court, and you deserve to have a place like this to dance, so COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS - if we don't pack the house, we'll never have the opportunity to have a dance there again.

4pm Inter/Adv Balboa IV: Killing You Softly With Slides
Intensives have an absolute maximum of 8 leaders and 8 followers, so sign up early to guarantee your spot - classes are FILLING UP FAST!! Intensive format classes also mean you'll get individual attention to your dancing.
